Hello our beautiful gays and theys it’s that time of the year again and we are back for another round of queer speed dating! We can’t wait for you to join us!

Everything you need to know below:
Time & Place: 7-9pm at Bean Vegan Cuisine (Gay Owned business that we will have all to ourselves! The ceilings are low, and every date you go on will be at it’s own table so things will feel more intimate and less overstimulating!)

– Parking is FREE and there’s LOTS OF IT! You’ll get to park right out front.
– You will go on about 15 dates. (Repeat attendees will be matched with all new people!) After the dates you’ll have time to talk to anyone else you might have missed!
– Chef Charlie will be serving up grilled cheese sandwiches and soup with tofu fingers & cookies for dessert. (It’s good y’all!)
– Drinks are complimentary! We will have beer, wine, n/a wine and other bubbly drinks
– Every single person, business, charity, and volunteer working with us will be LGBTQ+
– There will be a drag performance by our host – Faith N Mae!
– Don’t forget your tickets are tax deductible!

The page for tickets will ask you for all the info we need to get you registered. Fill it out carefully and give us a valid email to contact you!

How does it work?
We will start promptly on time so please arrive close to 6:45pm (PLEASE DON’T ARRIVE EARLIER THAN THIS) and give yourself plenty of time to check in.
We’ll hand you a name tag, pen, and a sheet with everyone’s name to select your interests. (There will be a space to check “friend” or “partner”)
We’ll show you where to sit.
Once we start you’ll get 3 minutes with each person plus 1 minute to transition and fill out your sheet. We’ll signal when it’s time to switch and explain where to move.
We’ll have a break to fill up on drinks. After we finish up with the dates, you’ll turn in your sheet and then get a chance to mingle with everyone. We will send you your matches the next day to your EMAIL.

The proceeds will go to Hare Bandits 501c(3) – an LGBTQ+ inclusive Charlotte local non-profit that strives to better our community through fitness and wellness! Read more about them below.

From Hare Bandits – Who are we and what do we do?

We are a fully inclusive nonprofit running team that celebrates diversity! We focus on community engagement and injury-free fitness with a special interest in supporting queer and neurodivergent folks & eliminating the perceived barrier to entry for “non-traditional” runners. We’re currently working to put out more resources and talk directly with race organizers to get a NON-BINARY category in every race in Charlotte.

TICKET SALES CLOSE AT 11:55pm TUESDAY 2/10
